Aston Martin Zagato - apparent to be a perfect Italo-Brit-Relation
from A to Z
From the visual effect the "Aston Martin Zagato" is uniting
power
and elegance in such a harmonic manner, as they always belonged together.
So no wonder that even a Jaguar Enthusiast (editor) had
to fell in love with this extraordinary dream machine and had to
take up her trail. As the editors interest is still going on, the existing
Jaguar collecting mania in the meantime had to be extended to this very special
Aston Martin model, but fortunately only to books and scale models.

In the meantime the editors independent search of the right model designation
ended with a success. We are dealing with an "Aston
Martin DB4GT Zagato" as introduced in 1960 on the London Motor
Show at Earls Court. Unfortunately only 19 models were sold, caused by the
competition of the reasonable Jaguar XKE model, but likewise ensuring todays
excellent exclusiveness. Despite its commercial failure the Aston Martin DB4GT
Zagato has achieved cult status and its worth is 6 Aston Martin DB4GTs.
